I am a sophomore at Loyola Marymount University majoring in Journalism with minors in Bioethics and History.
This year I have taken two video journalism classes focusing on Broadcast and Entertainment. For those I learned to put together packages, do standups, and write for television.
I completed a News Internship with Noozhawk in Summer 2024, and gained experience reporting in my community on quick deadlines. I especially enjoyed writing an article about a mural being painted at my old high school.
I was the Editor-in-Chief and Opinion Editor for two years in high school for the San Marcos King's Page.
I have always loved reading, which easily translated into my love of writing. Nowadays though I am more interested in copy-editing and am looking for experience in that area.
